Cleaning done, ready to weave!

This is the russet/garnet/chenille shawl on one of my floor looms.

This is my small Leclerc with some Christmas dishtowels in progress.

This is my clean "Loom Room". There is actually a clear path all the way to the back. It only took about 2 hours to get it cleaned. It was just a problem of finding a place for all the clutter that I had allowed to pile up. I know that to some of you, it may not seem organized, but I know where everything is and can get to the different work areas.
I have continued to prod along on my pi shawl. I am down to the last 12 rows. I really look forward to blocking this baby. It never ceases to amaze me how exquisite a plain piece of lace knitting becomes when it is blocked. It is like the bud of a flower opening up to display its beauty. I will keep that in mind so that I will be inspired to finish it before this weekend, only about 4 hours to go on it.
I am working on another circular for my publishers. I am making it in the Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud laceweight in Peppermint. It is a soft pink and such a soothing color. The yarn is so soft (100% alpaca). The problem with circular shawls is that you can have 300 sts on your needles and the shawl only be the size of a hubcap. The center knits up so quickly and then the outside drags.
Well, I am off to weave a bit and admire my clean "Loom Room", if only it would stay that way! Heavy sigh.........................

I admire your energy! Room looks pristine now. Let's see what it looks like in two weeks, though :)

Okay, 2 weeks from today, I will take another picture before I do anything to it. Maybe the knowledge of that will make me be diligent about putting things in their places.
