Half a pound

Well, weight loss this week was not what I had hoped. I only lost a half a pound. Of course, that did make me hit my 5% weight loss goal of 8 lbs. I made the mistake of eating out 3 different meals this weekend and I think that was where I went wrong. When you eat at home and you prepare the food, you know exactly what is going into it. When at a restaurant, you have to guesstimate. and I didn't figure enough points. So this week, I am not eating out and am writing down everything that I eat. Weight Watchers says, "if you bite it, write it"! I find that it does work to do that, no hidden points here and there to derail you.
On to better news!
Here is my Tangled Yoke Cardigan.
Here is a new shawl design, called Elizabeth. This one is made in Knit Picks Lace weight Gloss.
Here it is made in Knit Picks Gloss sock weight. I used beads on this one. They sparkle like little diamonds. Here is a new design that I did especially for Knit Picks Tonal sock weight yarn. I call this one Leaves A'Buddin or A'Blazin. I plan on doing it in the bright orange shade of this same yarn.
Here is a photo of the leaf portion of my Creature Comfort Cardi. I am a little over half way done with the body. I love the color of this yarn and its spongy softness. I wish I had gotten 2 bags of this color. It is a deep eggplant and really rich looking. I have been working on my loom room. I have accomplished a little of the painting of the walls. The wall that I am painting today will make it possible to relocate a cabinet. It is going to be a long work in progress to get things to where I can enjoy this room again. Last December, we bought a new stackable washer/dryer set. I was hoping it would help me have more room for my looms, yarn, quilt fabric....................too much stuff. I hope to destash a whole bunch once I can get to things more easily. Off to paint!
