Beautiful weather, beautiful weekend.

Last weekend was the The 4th Arkansas Fiber Arts Extravaganza held at The Lodge at Mount Magazine State park. We had reserved a room in Oct or Sept. It was the last room available, so I took it. Can you imagine the whole lodge full of knitters, spinners, weavers and yarnies? I was on cloud 9! The added bonus was that my Michael took off all day Friday for the drive up there. The weather could not have been more perfect. We left that morning with the top down on the Miata.
My knitting project in my lap. Breaking up the trip with a yarn stop at one of my favorite yarn stores, Knit 2 Together in Russellville. Stopping for a photo opportunity at one of the overlooks. Checking in at 4:00. Finding out that it was a King Suite with a jacuzzi tub! On the 3rd floor, with a balcony that overlooked the mountain...............
Rising before daylight to see the sunrise. Getting to do my quiet time to this splendor of God's creation.
Seeing old friends, Margaret Taverner, and meeting new ones.
This is Tempted. That is all I know her by. This is a pi shawl that she knitted. I had to share it's beauty with you. She is a great knitter and sells beautiful hand dyed roving and yarns.
Here is some roving that she hand dyed. It is called Memories of Virgina. Definitely Kay colors.
Here is photo of the back of the lodge.
It was a perfect weekend.
