Here are the Baby Leaves Sweater that I have made for some precious little baby girl. The original one is here. This is what I did differently. Make both and pick and choose the things that you like about each and make your own.
I was thinking how cute this would be in Red. The leaves would almost look like a poinsettia flower.

Yippee! I will enjoy this pattern; it is similar to an old one I have made many times but this is simpler and more 'southern'! Thanks so much for posting it!
Oh my word! I think this is one of my favorite things you've made!
I really like the modifications you've made. I might just give this a try!
Hello, thanks for sharing this pattern. I'm trying it out now and am up to 'dividing for sleeves'.
I have a question, is the increase in row 1 (add on 3 stitches) using the same technique as the M1 in row 6?
Thanks!
Momo, when it says to add on 3 sts, it means to cast on 3 sts. I use the e-wrap method. You can google it. K
Thanks for sharing this! Can you clarify which size needle you recommend for the 6-9 month size? In materials section it says a US 6 needle, but gauge swatch section says to use a US 5 needle for that size. Is that right?
Thanks in advance for clarifying!
Your dividing for the front , sleeve, and back, is nor working for me.
It should. I did the math and it works out.
Make sure that you have 151 sts before you begin. Front will be 22 +34(sleeve)+39(back)+34(sleeve)+22= 151-34-34(sleeves)+5+5(underarm sts) =93 sts.
Tres tres beau mais pourrait on avoir la traduction en français merci beaucoup
On the baby leaf sweater. I came to the end of the yoke and then it went right into dividing and making the sleeves. where is the instructions for the body part. unless I'm looking at this wrong but I'm not sure. Is it part of the sleeve section. Please help!
Thank you,
