Nothing distracts you from projects more than new yarn. I have my road trip yarn buys and yesterday, I got my
Little Knits order in. The great thing about my job is getting to use really nice yarns. When Fulay at Little Knits talked about this
Ranco Semi-solid sock yarn, I melted over this
Cinnamon Bark color way. It screamed Kayyyyyyyyyy! I resisted for a while, but had to order more
Jojoland sock yarn for a design and added the Ranco to the order. These are definitely "
Kay colors".

So now, I am looking for the perfect pattern stitch for these yarns. I would like to use some of the Jojoland for
In the Pink by Izzyknits. I really would love to make
this or
this or both.
Knitting progress--Still working on
Arkansas Diamonds. Enjoying it. I am warming up to the Jaggerspun Zephyr, but it still does not hold a candle to my Schaefer Trenna. My goals are to finish Arkansas Diamonds and my
Autumn Leaf Pi Shawl and then I will start my remake of
Ozark Autumn.Life's little pleasures--going shopping with your teenage son for school/college clothes. Coming home and making a pasta dish with roma tomatoes and basil from your very own garden. Joy and yum!
