Dangerous friendships.........

Some friends are just dangerous to be around......not to mention any names, but......Jennifer and Alyssa...........
Jennifer is always going on about how I have created a monster in Alyssa with the weaving addiction. The problem with these addictions is that they lead to other addictions. Case in point....Jennifer mentioned that her daughter, Alyssa, suggested that she make her a quilt for her hope chest. Jennifer was not keen on the idea, but mentioned it to me and my mind starts spinning/quilting. I am actually lying in bed Sunday afternoon and planning the blocks for this quilt and how I am going to sell Jennifer on the idea................yes, I still managed to drift off into a peaceful/pieceful quilting dream............
I have spent the morning playing with my knitting stitches program making quilt top possibilities. Here are a few options...
In The BoxMy new choice for Ben's Quilt.
Another possibility...
Oh, what fun! I feel like a kid with a new coloring book........
These are all made using only 2 blocks. They are great quilts for beginners, because a lot of the squares are solid. I will use paper piece foundation for the 2 blocks, too.
Well, let me know what you think Jennifer and Alyssa........and Alyssa settle on a color and theme scheme.
By the way, Becky, let me know if any of these suit you. I can't wait to teach you and your girls to quilt and late August is good for me.

Great designs........I like to design 'someday' quilts, too.

Oh boy! I am soooo excited! Is one of these easier than another? I like the third one.
