I've been a little under the weather, so I have taken it easy this week. I am struggling with sleep deprivation, at least that is the diagnosis. All I know is that I am plum exhausted.
I spent the day, yesterday, with a friend who had a hysterectomy. I took knitting and food. She didn't really need me, but I just wanted to be there to be a go-fer. Hopie could have but I just wanted to.
I took a big pot of vegetable soup, a big bowl of greens (turnip, mustard and collard)(we are in the south ya know) and stuff to make a big casserole dish of my famous mac n cheese and some cornbread. Is there anything more comforting than a pot of homemade soup simmering on the stove, yum.................?
I knitted while we watch, What Not To Wear. We watched a movie, too. It was a lovely day of just food, friendship and knitting.
I almost have my Albuquerque silk Gail finished. I am on the edging. I finished a rug on my loom. I started another.I designed a lap quilt for some of my quilting students. Like I said, just trying to take it easy. I hate being tired...........off to take a short nap.

Since I was sick for a month, I sympathize but sleep is a good message from your body-so listen!
Love the weaving!
thank you for going over there and sitting with Kathie! I'm sure she enjoyed your company!! What a great friend you are!
I DID need you! If you hadn't been there I wouldn't have eaten lunch...I need to eat, though I don't feel much like eating. You are such a great friend to love me that way, thank you !
