Christmas is just around the corner

I taught a lace knitting and charting class at a Fiber event last weekend. It was held at our lovely Mt. Magazine State Park Lodge. What a view we had. I highly recommend this lovely Lodge for a romantic get away. It is another crowning jewel in Arkansas' state parks. Adding a day of knitting, teaching, shopping and visiting with other knitters and I was one very happy knitter.

There were about 45-50 students in my class.
This is Margaret. She was one of my main pattern testers when I worked at Leisure Arts full time. She tested one of the models in my lace knitting book and brought her copy for me to sign.

Okay, Christmas gift progress......I wish I could post more, but progress sometimes is very slow. I finished Ty's and Parker's quilts completely. I am quilting Katie's and finished the top of Bailey's. Here is a buttoned ascot scarf that I made for Emily. I made Sarah one, too. I bought the button last year after Christmas. It is very whimsical. The girls will love them.
Here is a photo of a Rambling Rows jacket for Zoe. I alternated the buttons to give it a cute accent. I finished two slouch hats, one for Brooke and one for Christy, my nieces. I still have a little bit of silk painting to finish, a house to clean and decorate, goodies to bake, a menu to plan, some shopping to do............................the usual holiday craziness.

Always love seeing what you are up to. I was in Branson last week. Thought about you when I went to Becca's shop there in SDC. Hope you're doing well.
