Bummer, bummer, bummer!

So....I was diligent last week with my diet. I even walked every day. My weight loss this week was only 1/2 lb! I could have cried! I did not weigh myself all week. I wanted my first weigh in to be at my local Weight Watchers meeting. I even wore the same clothes as last time. I am so discouraged but still so determined.
I have to admit that I feel good about eating healthier. I am a veggie lover. It is great that I began this diet close to when our local farmers market is about to start. I love going there and getting fresh veggies. I feel good about being more active, too. I am doing that slowly, building up to more each day. Right now, I am doing 30 minutes of walking. All the pollen is killing my allergies. I am on 4 different meds for that.
On the knitting front.......
I finished a shrug for Sophie at church and I am working on another one for her. It is actually crochet, but that is Okay. I finished a small shawl. I am calling this one Little Elizabeth. It has small diamonds as the lace part.
I designed if for some lace knitting workshops that I will be doing this year. I needed a class sample. This class will teach lace knitting, chart reading and using beads. Here is a picture of me wearing my Spring in Bloom. I love the Terra Cotta color. Here is the back.
Here is a close-up of the front.

I understand the weight thing-it will take a while before you see the scales dip but you will! The shawl is beautiful-sure is a great class sample1

Love your terra cotta sweater! So beautiful! I am trying to lose weight, too. So far I am 6 pounds down. Doing it the old fashioned way, too.....diet and exercise. I'll be praying for you and would appreciate you doing the same for me! Hang in there! It will happen for you in due time if you press toward the goal, girlfriend!
