I think that this one may be a good starting point for my hydrangea fabric. I will mull it over for a few days, maybe do a square to see how it looks, perhaps do it on the diagonal.
I love this one, too. It is so geometrically pleasing. I have a bunch of batiks fat quarters that I have been hording and adding to constantly. I think it would really be WOW in batiks.
I can't wait go to Nancy's tomorrow to pick her quilting brain.
Yesterday was quite gloomy. We had this wonderful layer of cloud coverage that looked like quilt batting. I think I have quilting on the brain! If it had been 20 degrees colder, we would have had a wonderful snow storm. After having so many bone dry days this fall, the rain in much needed. It is happily watering my little patch of greens! Yum!
It was so cold and wet last night that we built a fire in the fireplace. We all three love the smell of a fire.
Today, I am thankful for the my bible study. I am doing a Kay Arthur Precept class on Covenant. If you ever get an opportunity to do this one, take it. It will truly transform your understanding of the love of God, the price of our salvation, your marriage covenant with your husband, the meaning of the new covenant brought about by the death of Christ. The book of Hebrews is seen in a whole new light. I am, also, reading a great book on Hudson Taylor. I love missionary books. When I was home schooling Ben, we went through many and I always so enjoyed them. This one is about Hudson and his wife Marie.

We have been doing a study of Hebrews and it really ties the Old and New Testaments together.
Hudson Taylor is my favorite missionary! Have you read the two-volume books on his life? Wonderful!!! Sorry you can't come out tomorrow, but I will not be here tomorrow anyway and I would love to see you when you come out.
