Okay, I know it has been forever since I posted projects, but I have been so busy and obsessed with the book that I am working on that I have neglected my blog. It seems that I am making great progress on some fronts. Then when I think about the fact that I have a total of 16 designs for this book, I freak out. Yesterday, I made myself a chart to keep track of projects written/projects finished. Seeing it in black and white help calm the panic. So far, I have written 8 of then, finished 4 and about to bind off on my 5th. Next week, I will try to do more of the smaller ones that can be cranked out and add to my comfort on the progress of this book.
On the just-for-personal knitting/designing/sewing front, I have pics. This is my buddy, Cindy's Majacraft Rose. Here is the cover that I promised her a couple of eons ago. She had bought the fabric way back when. Our schedules and lives just made it a thing that had to be put on the back burner for a while. I am pleased with it, overall, but if I ever/NEVER make another one, I will tweak it some more.
Here is a new design that I have been working on for the fall and winter. The design idea thanks go to Diane Bledsoe. Cindy modeling it for me.
My Lacy Crocheted Bohemian Cardi design.
Here it is in red!
On a very personal note:
I just finished up reading the book that I started at the beginning of this year. I is called The Knowledge of the Holy by A. W. Tozer. I highly recommend it. It is a life changing book.
Now, I have started Faith Works by John MacArthur, Jr. I recommend anything by him.
I am going to start sharing some of the sections that I highlighted in The Knowledge of the Holy. These sections really struck a chord in my heart and when I share enough of them, you will understand why you need to add this book to your reading list.
"Worship is pure or base as the worshiper entertains high or low thoughts of God."

Thanks for catching us up on your projects, the book will get done one step at a time, and thanks for the devotional thought at the end. One of the main reasons I follow your blog is the honest nature of it and how you reflect your faith. It helps that there is not just knitting or quilting (things I love) but a word from the Lord (Who I love most). Have a good week.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on that great book. And I LOVED your red version of the Diane Bledsoe idea! It was beautiful last week! Hope to see you tomorrow.
Really nice to see your post and your new projects. Love the wrap that Cindy is modeling AND the cover you make for her Rose. I'm wishing for a Rose, and if it happens, I'll take another look at the cover you made. Thanks for the heads up on the book, too. I'll check it out.
