Hot off the needles......

Well, I have been lost in the land of new ideas. Remember the Through Thick and Thin Friendship Shawl? Well, did another one with a different yarn. I used a single spun sock yarn in black and some vivid acrylic chenille. Hated the way that the chenille wormed and was not even. The person I made it for loved it, though.

What else? Remember the Baby Allison Christening Blanket? Well, this is the gown and bonnet that goes with it.

And here is the dress version. I made the gown, tweaked it and then made the dress. Now I have to remake the gown.

I love the little pink heart button that I found for it.

I finished another name draft Shawl. This one was for the MIL of the missionary.
That's all for now.

Nice to see what you have been up to-love the shawl-very nice touch with the contrasts. The baby items are perfect-what a gift of love!

Hi, Kay.
VERY prolific!
I found that I don't have access to my address book using my daughter's computer, so I do not have your e-mail address, and I don't have a Yahoo account. I will contact you once we're home.

Re testing--it's not a problem, but I've never used the Juki. However, I'm sure the instructions will show us the way. So far as the frame goes, you are more knowledgeable than I about loading a quilt; again, I've never done it myself. The main thing to remember is that many people not nearly as bright and gifted as you are, have figured it out and learned to use this machine and frame system.
