I thought I would shoot off a short line or two before my pain pill is in full affect. I have been down in my back since Thursday. I thought I was mending and even ventured out to Worship service yesterday morning, but apparently that was not a good idea. I have been taken off Ibuprofen for 3 days and will have to rely on pain meds, which I hate. I am allergic to Tylenol. Wednesday, I go in for an epidural shot in my spine. So to say the least, I will probably not be able to start my Lyra Tuesday morning. It is a pattern that takes concentration and I probably will not be able to do that on these meds. I would have loved to have friends over tonight or tomorrow, but the house needs picking up and I can't do it at this point. My Christmas decorations are still up and there is not a blasted thing I can do about it. I am usually putting them all away the day after Christmas, but I was tired Wednesday and Thursday, I was unable.

I am so sorry to hear you are in pain. I hope you heal fast as the New Year brings you health and lots of Lyra knitting!
Man, Kay, I hope you'll recover quickly. That must be exhausting to tolerate so much pain for so long. I feel for ya!
