NEW BOOK!

This is the cover of my new book! It does not officially come out until Jan 2008. My son says that he will scan all my books and put them on this blog, but I could not wait for this one. I turned it in November of 2006. You can understand why I am so excited when one of them comes out. It is not an overnight process. This one was requested after my "Teach a Group of Kids to Knit" did so well. Crochet and knit have been a great creative outlet for me. This one is dedicated to my maternal Grandma, Myrtle Tippitt. She let me sit and watch her crochet when I was about 8. I didn't know what the stitches were until I was in my teens. I didn't even follow a pattern. My Malibu Barbie did not mind one bit.
Last night, I finished another scarf and worked on my pink alpaca shawl. I am on the last row. I had less rows than I had previously thought. I put on my flannel pj's, covered up with my heated throw and just enjoyed knitting. I hope to finish it tonight and save the bind off for tomorrow morning. I download the Knit Picks pod casts and listen to them when I have a bizillion stitches to bind off. It sure makes it a more tolerable job.
