Well, my Arkansas Diamond Shawl is finished. I am very pleased with the results of the blocking. Here are photos. In the center of the diamonds and elongated diamonds there are crystal seed beads. I used them along the edges, too. Boy, using beads with knitting is so time consuming but the results are just stunning. I wish I could have gotten more details.
I can see this as a gorgeous wedding shawl. Check out all my photos for this shawl here.
Knitting progress--I took a break from my lace knitting. I really just wanted to do some plain old stockinette, brainless knitting. I am working on a felted tote, a large felted tote. It was just the kind of knitting I needed to defrag my lace hard drive. It is cool tote. As soon as I am finished with it, I will post pics. I plan to offer it as a free Ravelry pattern. My friend Nancy made it first in a variegated and a solid wool yarn. I am making mine in 2 solid colors. Hers is large enough, after felting, to put a laptop in. I love a big tote.

It's lovely, Kay, but there is no photo on the blog at the moment. But I peeked at the Ravelry pix--very sweet!
I was thinking about doing some felting... first I need to line the last 2 felted things I made. Did you see the felted tote in the latest Knitters mag? It has waves of tucked sts - very cool!
I knew you needed another shawl - so pretty!
