Catching up...

It is so nice to have friends send you yarn, when you need a little pick me up. Denise, my lavender fields buddy, had this in her stash and knew that I was wanting and going to get some. Wasn't that incredibly sweet. How did she know that this would make my day? What a great gal!
It is Knitpicks Gloss laceweight in the color Raisin. Yum! Something tells me that this yarn is going to WANT beads!
I know I have been silent for a long time, but I have just been really busy and I do have pictures to show. This is my triangular loom with a shawl in progress.
Here it is finish and about to be taken off.
Here is a close up of the weave, color and fringe. It is definitely "Kay colors"!

Now I have a shawl that I can use my copper leaf pin on.
Knitting progress: I am still working on my Socks that Rock yarn. I blocking my Traveling Shawl for photography. It is drying as I blog. I am over halfway finished with my Traveling Shawl KAL in my favorite yarn, Jojoland Melody. The more I knit with this yarn the more I adore it. The colors just take your breath away and it blocks like a dream! I ordered a bag yesterday for a design idea.
Traveling Shawl progress--We swept through MA, whizzed through NH and now it is in ME, soon it will be on its way to VT! 13 States down, 37 to go! Check out our blog here.

I've got to make one of the table runners! I was telling someone about your pattern for it the other night.

The beads are pretty! A bead sale - gotta be a good thing!
