There are times when being a loser is good, this week was one of them. I lost another 1.8 lbs. That means I have reached my 10% goal of my beginning weight. I have 8 more to go.
Getting back into the walking every day routine has proved to be hard. I went Monday and it felt as if I were starting over. Who would have thought that 2 1/2 weeks would make such a difference. Tuesday it rained, today I have my knitting class and need to run some errands this morning and straighten up the house. The heat and humidity here make it necessary to get my walk in early. I am not one to do that. I am struggling with lack of deep sleep again.
No pictures this post. My desktop is waiting for a part. Our power supply box was apparently defective, so now I must wait for it to come in. I hope to get it replaced soon. I need to finish some copy for new designs.
I just finished knitting a model of a really adorable pattern last night. I made it using Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted (love this yarn). I did it in a Pine Green in Millie's size. It is another addition to my leaf collection of patterns. My leaf addition seems to be growing! I think that is fitting, since Fall is my favorite time of the year. I am working on one in my size and have a tester doing the largest size. Another leaf design of a shawl is on paper (not on computer, yet). I am calling it a Slice of Spring for the Spring version and a Slice of Autumn for the Autumn version. Then I am working on a Leaf Yoked long sleeved cardigan in a yummy olive green wool. I have the numbers crunched for that one, too.
I need to come up with a unique name for this cardigan. Any suggestions?
