Workshop, Trunk Show and Book Signing

I am teaching a workshop this Saturday, August 18th, at Knit Unto Others in Arkadelphia, AR.
It will be a class on Simple Chart Making and Reading for Lace Knitting.

Class will begin at 10:30 and go for 2-3 hours.

In this class, you will learn how to read a symbol key and use it and the written instructions to make charts for lace knitting and how to use them in your knitting. At the end of the class, you will have made 3 charts to use for future knitting. We will start a chunky scarf in this class or a worsted weight headband/ear warmer.

 If charts have always baffled you, join me to learn how easy it is to make your own and follow charts in knitting. No chart experience required.
Knowing how to knit, purl, and have mastered YO, K2 tog, SSK, Slip one, K2 tog, pass slipped stitch over;
      all these skills are a MUST.
This class will work you through how to make and read charts. You will receive a pattern for a chunky scarf, headband/ear warmer and stocking cap to start in the class or take home and knit.

Following the class, there will be a Trunk Show and Book Signing for my new book Knitting For A Cure.
If you are in the area, stop by and say hey!
Knit Unto Others is celebrating a birthday, too. Come out and support this great yarn shop.
