I will be doing a book signing for my Knitting For A Cure book at Knitting On the Corner in Hot Springs on Saturday, Oct the 13th from 12:00 to 3:00. If you are close by, come and say "hey"! I will have all of the models from the book with me, so you can touch, feel and try on some of them.
Also, finished this new design. It is called "To ___ With Love Shawl". It was designed with someone special in mind. I am writing it to be made by a single knitter, or by a group of knitters that knits their part and hands it off to the next knitter or as a fast knit with 3 knitters knitting their parts separately and grafting the Side Panels to the Center Counterpoint.
That is why I am calling it To _____ With Love Shawl. I used 1 1/2 skeins of Dream In Color Stardust in Fierce Scarlet. I am please with it. I am making one in some lettuce colored Sea Silk. This shawl is made in 3 Sections, starting with the Center Counterpoint and then working out from there to do the Side Panels. I am pleased with how it turned out. When you knit it, you insert the name of the person that you are knitting it for into the title.
