SDC and Book Signing #2 and Announcing #3

I will be doing another book signing for my Knitting For A Cure book at Yarn Mart here in my home state, on Saturday, Oct the 27th, from 2:00 to 4:00.
Their address is --
5711 Kavanaugh Blvd Little Rock, Arkansas
If you are close by, come and say "hey"! I will have all of the models from the book with me, so you can touch, feel and try on some of them.

Now for some updating of my booking signing this last weekend.
The fall color was glorious last weekend on our trip to Branson, Silver Dollar City and One City Market in Rogersville, MO.

Autumn color
At SDC, we had the added treat of seeing Aunt Shirley and Doc. She was the former cook at the cabin at SDC for years. They are retired now, but it was just lovely to get to see them, again.
Here is Donna of Dewberry Ridge wearing one of my shawls.
This is how it looks in the back. I am working on this one. It is on needles, but laid aside for a while for Christmas knitting and baby gift knitting. I am so far behind on my baby gifts! More on that at the end.
Aunt Judy spinning a yarn! We had dinner with her and Richard that night.
This is the registration table all purty in pink, with lots of lovely door prizes! My table is set up right beside it.
Knitters everywhere, knitting prostheses for breast cancer patients.
A fellow Arky and knitter! Phyllis Speers!
The stuffing crew.
More sitting and knitting.
One really relaxed bunny rabbit being lulled asleep in Lisa' Mom's lap!
Sitting, knitting and chatting!
I had my photo taken with Phyllis. She is such a nice person!
And one of me and the shop owner, Lisa.
This yarn store is quite a community of knitters. There were about 75 or more people that came by during the course of the days events. The yard in the back is large and open, plenty of room to pull up a lawn chair and knit. Lisa provided snacks, lunch, drinks and lots of fun. When I talked with her today, she bragged on her knitters saying that they were always happy to back any cause that she decided to do something for. Thank you, Lisa, for letting me come and be a part of your knitting family!

Have to share this, since I said I would. This is a little cardigan that I made for a baby girl at church. You can get the pattern here to make your own. I will post a little later what I did different on mine. This is going to be my go-to presents for little newborn girls at church. It takes less than 200 yards of dk yarn! Now, if I could only find a cute quick little man cardigan. Need to work on that one soon. Got some boys that are waiting and some that are coming soon. Will keep you informed on how that goes, too.

Okay, I am going to be knitting this twice! Thanks for sharing the link! I agree-I need a little boys cardigan pattern-so many are too feminine and the others are boring!
Glad the book signing day was so a success!

I really need to get the family to SDC but there is not enough hours in the week.
Love the little cardigan! I made
Owl Baby Vest by Jodi Haraldson (freebie on Ravelry)for my new grand-nephew. It is not a cardigan but very boyish.
